Dr. Julie Buford is the program chair for the Power of Ten Leadership program. She is with Pet Community Center in East Nashville.
How long have you been a TVMA member? 5 Years
Do you have a particular practice area of interest? Non-Profit, High Volume, High Quality, Spay, Neuter, Wellness and Mobile Clinic
What is one professional goal you have for yourself in the next 5 years? My professional goal is to continue to work to increase access to veterinary care in underserved communities. I am also hoping to stay active in organized veterinary medicine with the TVMA and AVMA.
What are your hobbies outside of work? When not working, I try and spend all my time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and exploring Nashville.
What is one personal goal you’ve set for yourself in the next year? I am working to declutter my house! It feels like a never-ending process.
