Tennessee Veterinary Medical Foundation.
Are you looking for a way to memorialize your pet? Have you been thinking of honoring your veterinarian? This #GivingTuesday, November 29, 2016, we ask that you consider a gift to the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Foundation. This organization honors pets through the Tennessee Animal Hall of Fame; assists future veterinarians by awarding scholarships to veterinary students; assists veterinarians with various wellness and educational programs, and more. Pet owners, donating $5 you would otherwise spend on your morning Starbucks can help fund the future of an aspiring veterinarian. Veterinarians, donating a small percentage of your receipts on November 29 will help fund wellness programs and future education programs for you and your colleagues. Plus, donations support the Tennessee Animal Hall of Fame which honors outstanding pets who are nominated by veterinarians for courageous or heroic actions.
Last #GivingTuesday, generous donors raised $5,000 by challenging each other to give. This year, we would encourage all of you to help break that milestone.
