13 Oct Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Celebrates Dr. Allan Holladay
The Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Executive Board celebrated Dr. Allan Holladay as he officially retired from the position of Tennessee’s AVMA Delegate. Dr. Holladay has been a dedicated servant of the TVMA for most of his career. During the American Veterinary Medical Association annual conference in August, AVMA likewise recognized Dr. Allan Holladay upon his retirement from 13 years of service as a member of the House of Delegates.
He has been a member of the TVMA since January 1, 1979, a year after graduating from Auburn University with his DVM. A life member of TVMA, Dr. Holladay served as president of the organization in 2005 and has been recognized as an Outstanding Practitioner (2016) and with the Distinguished Service Award (2011).
He owned and practiced at Brentwood Veterinary Clinic in Brentwood, TN, until his retirement from practice a few years ago. Dr. Holladay has a special interest in veterinary dentistry for both dogs and cats and was one of the first veterinarians in middle Tennessee to advocate for comprehensive dental care of pets. He continues to reside in Williamson County with his wife June.
